International Governmental Organizations (IGO:s)

International governmental Organizations are organizations with international membership, scope and presence. Their primary members consist of sovereign states referred to as member states. Sometimes these organizations can also be called "Intergovermental Organizations."  These organizations bring member states together to cooperate on a particular theme or issues that have global impacts and implications such as human rights, trade, development, poverty, gender or migration.
