The library's e-books can be found by searching for a title, author or a subject in Libsearch and then limiting your search to Source Type > eBooks.
You can also search directly on the E-book platforms.
We recommend that you read the e-books online in the web browser as a first choice.This is is the best and easiest way with most e-books. Especially if you have a stable internet connection.
With the two most common platforms it works like this.
Sometimes you can download a single chapter as a pdf without limitations but to download a complete e-book you might need to install certain apps and/or create an account. Notes made in downloaded books in Adobe Digital Editions will disappear once the loan has expired.
Due to DRM (Digital Rights Management), you need an Adobe ID in order to download e-books from Ebook Central and EBSCO Ebook Collection.
Use this account to authorize Adobe Digital Editions and/or Bluefire Reader. Then use your Adobe ID to authorize your device on Adobe Digital Editions.
To download, read on screen and to transfer e-books to a computer or other device you will need Adobe Digital Editions.
