When you are connected to the Malmö University wifi, Eduroam, the database will automatically know you are a user from Malmö University.

If your are not on the university's network be sure to use the links to search tools and databases from the library web, as they include the authentication step you need to get access to licensed texts.

This is also important if you're using PubMed, Libris and Google Scholar, these a freely available search tools but the library links will give you access to licensed materials and more.

Ordering books and journal articles not available at the library

There are forms for ordering books and articles on the library web, but you can also use the linked forms from Libris, Google Scholar and other databases.

Order books and articles

LIBRIS
When you go to Libris via the search box on the library web, Malmö University is selected as your favourite library. This means that you can see directly in the results if there's a copy of the book at the library. And if we don't have it, you can use the Interlibrary loan/request link to order a copy from another library. Click on the link, then click on Order form, a new page opens, click on Order book. Add your name and library card number and submit your request.
Google Scholar
Search Google Scholar via the search box on the library web, or add Malmö University in the Google Scholar library link settings. If we have the article in fulltext you see a link on the right hand side in the results, Fulltext via Mau. If there is no fulltext link for the article, you may find a Request via Mau link from the >> sign below the article info. Click on the link. Sometimes there are two options from the linking menue: Order article/ Beställ artikel and Get it now – article delivery via email for Malmö University staff. The Order article option is a paper copy that we send by post, the Get it now is an email service that is available for some journal articles, and it requires that you use your Malmö University email adress when submitting the request.
